1973 Volkswagen Thing underwent refurbishment, featuring a rebuilt 1,915cc flat-four engine, a four-speed manual transaxle with a “freeway flyer” top gear, a red repaint, and interior reupholstery in black and red vinyl. Additional work included overhauling the speedometer, along with replacement of the fuel tank, windshield, exterior seals, seatbelts, and light harnesses. The car boasts BTR-style alloy wheels and mud-terrain tires, as well as aftermarket audio components.
